Timothy James Morvant, Sr.,52, died Monday, June 4, 2012. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, June 7, 2012 from 10:00 AM until service time at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 3:00 PM at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Burial: St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery He is survived by his, wife, Loretta Hebert Morvant, son, Timothy James Morvant, Jr., daughter, Candace Morvant, son in law, Derek Johnson, grandchildren, Alyssa Johnson and Dylan Johnson, mother, Betty Morvant, brother, Thomas Joseph Morvant, III and wife Allison Lynn Morvant. He was preceded in death by his, father, Thomas Joseph Morvant, Jr., brother, Tyler John Morvant, sister, Cynthia Barbie Morvant, grandparents, Ednor and Albion Guidry and Mabel and Thomas Joseph Morvant, Sr. He was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. He was a welder and fitter for Oil States Industries, Inc. He loved the outdoors, cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He loved his two grandkids.
