Robert Elmo Stutts Jr., 74, died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 9:25 PM. He was a native of Huntsville, TX and resident of Bourg, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Monday, May 28, 2012 from 9:00am to 11:00am at St. Ann Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 28, 2012 at 11:00am at St. Ann Catholic Church. Aurora CO Brian Keith Stutts and wife Melissa Crowell of Rocklin CA Sister: Sally Jane Pittman and late husband John of Bedias TX Grandchildren: Thomas Stutts, Jessie Stutts, Julie Stutts, Samantha Stutts, Robbie Stutts, Stephanie Stutts, Kyle Stutts, Shelby Stutts, Kevin Stutts, and Kaitlin Stutts Close friends and family: Hugh Martin, Melissa Davis , Lowell Martin, Bobby Pittman, and Johnny Pittman He was preceded in death by his, Parents: Robert and Nita Curry Stutts Brothers: John Don Stutts Sister: Samuella Sue Martin He was a member/parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. United States Air Force, Dresser Atlas for 25 years. He was a devoted husband for 54 years to Carol. He loved his family and grandchildren dearly. He was a loyal friend to many. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and was proud to serve his country in the United States Air Force. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Ann Catholic Church toward their community building project.
