Frances Theriot Duplantis, 95, died Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 5:50 AM. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 She is survived by her, Two Sons: Danny Sr and Elton Jr.; Daughter in Law: Pam Duplantis; Two Grandsons: Mike and Danny Jr.; One Great Grandson: Dylan Duplantis; and One Sister In Law: Marie McNabb. She was preceded in death by her, Husband: Elton Duplantis Sr.; Parents: Wiltz Sr and Mary Hebert; Brothers: Abel, Wiltz Jr , Joe Thibodaux Jr.; and Sister: Marion Hieus. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. She was a secretary. A rosary will be held at 9:00am by the Catholic Daughters. She was a loving and caring person. She enjoyed working in the yard, watching sports and keeping up with current events. She loved to cook cajun food. The family would like to thank the staff and doctors of Terrebonne General Medical Center and Heritage Manor for their professional and caring services. She was also a loving mother and friend to all and will be sadly missed.
