Marie Talbot Daigle, 90, died Monday, May 7, 2012 at 2:30 AM. She was a native of Napoleonville, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her, sons, David Daigle and wife Mary, Houma, LA, Michael Daigle and wife Dawn, Houma, LA, daughter, Elaine Daigle Richard, Houma, LA, grandchildren, Denise Madere, Carmen Richard, Melanie Daigle, Amy Daigle, Brian Daigle, Emily Daigle, Ethan Daigle, great grandchildren, Austin Richard, Grant Madere, Olivia Madere, MacKenci Daigle brothers, Dudly Talbot, Calvin Talbot, Mert Talbot. She was preceded in death by her, husband, Alvin J. Daigle, parents, Junius Louis Talbot and Agnes Arboneaux Talbot, brothers, Junius Talbot, Archie Talbot and John Talbot. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed painting, knitting, gardening and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. She was a very religous woman and was an inspiration to her family and friends. She was a catechism teacher and a member of the Ladies Altar Society at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
