Marjorie Porche, 91, died Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 5:45 AM. She was a native of Gibson, LA and resident of Gibson, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 9:00am to 11:00am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at 11:00am at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Chacahoula, LA. Burial: St Patrick Cemetery in Gibson. She is survived by her, Daughters:Patricia Porche McGlothin and husband Dennis of Dallas TX and Kay Porche Thibodeaux of Houma LA; Grandchildren: Melissa Burnett Bergeron and husband Chad, Ryan Burnett; Great Grandchildren: Reece Bergeron and Grant Bergeron; She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her, Spouse: Edward Joseph Porche Jr.; Parents: Daniel and Clysse McIntire; Son: Edward Joseph Porche III; Brothers: Klein McIntire, Carroll McIntire and Johnny McIntire; Sisters: Margaret McIntire Authement and Clysse McIntire Bourgeois; Son In Law: Joseph Thibodeaux Jr. She was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. She was employed by Terrebonne Parish School Dist. Marge was an example of love, kindness, and generosity to all who knew her. Her selflessness was epitomized by her good deeds and lifelong committment to serving others. Her presence in our lives was God's blessing to us all.
