Arsenia Mazerac, 91 yrs old and a long time resident of Houma, died peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday May 5, 2012 at the Chateau Terrebonne Nursing Home. Arsenia owned and operated until she retired in the mid-90s, the Mr. Bandido Mexican restaurant on West Park Ave. She was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her interests included family, sewing, walking in the mall and regularly going to the gym. She enjoyed meeting friends old and young alike and had a wonderful personality that endeared her to friends who are much younger than her. Arsenia is well loved and affectionately known for her good nature and generous heart. She will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched. She is survived by husband of 63 yrs, Wilfred Mazerac, son Michael Mazerac and granddaughter Kay-Lynn Mazerac of Austin, TX and daughter Rose Ann Mazerac of Baton Rouge. Visitation is held at the St. Bernadette Catholic Church on Funderburk Drive on Thursday May 10, 2012 at 11am followed by a funeral mass in memory of Arsenia at 1pm.
