Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 from 9:00am to 11:00am at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at 11:00am at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her, Sons:John McMeel, Frank Benoit and wife Connie Stutzman Benoit and Walton Benoit; Step Sons: Tommy Guidry and wife Brenda Landry Guidry, and Jack Guidry and wife Janine Jackson Guidry; Step Daughters: Mary Ellen Guidry DuPont and husband Albert, Claire Ann Guidry Barker and husband Robert and Angie Guidry Gautreaux and husband Todd; Grandchildren:16 Great Grandchildren:26 and Great Great Grandchildren:5. She was preceded in death by her, Husbands: Charles McMeel, Joseph A. Benoit, and Percy Guidry; Parents: Alfred and Bertha Fanguy Thibodaux; Brothers: Charles Thibodaux and Walton Thibodaux; Sisters: Clarice Thibodaux and Evette Moosa; and Daughter in Law: Margie McMeel. She was a parishioner of St Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. She was a graduate of St. Francis De Sales class of 1939. She enjoyed music, dancing, playing cards, trips to the casino, reading and crossword puzzles.
