Dolores Pitre Cheramie, 71, died Saturday, May 5, 2012. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Patterson , LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, May 10, 2012 from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport, LA. Burial: Holy Savior Catholic Church Cemetery She is survived by her, son, Shane A. Cheramie and wife Ray Ann, Houma, LA; daughter, Selena Cheramie Shannon and husband Casey, Berwick, LA; grandchildren, Sarah Marie Domangue, Rebecca Ann Domangue, Brady Timothy Shannon, Shane Julian Cheramie and wife Rebecca; step grandchildren, Jacob Micheal Broussard and John Micheal Broussard; step great grandchildren, McKenzie Miller; sister, Phyllis Pitre Zullo and husband Ernie. She was preceded in death by her, husband, Claude Joseph Cheramie; parents, Joseph Anthony Pitre and Bella Elizabeth Arcement Pitre. She was a retired Medical Transcriptionist at Terrebonne General Medical Center. Dolores also known as "Granny" was a kind and loving person and enjoyed anytime spent with her family.
