Barbara Jane Cunningham Lapeyrouse, 69, died Monday, April 30, 2012. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2012 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, May 4, 2012 from 9:00am to 1:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 1:00pm at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her, Loving companion Ronnie Boudreaux; Sons: Darrell Michael Lapeyrouse and wife Donna of Houma LA; and Jerome Anthony Lapeyrouse and wife Trisha of Houma LA; Daughters: Danita Lapeyrouse Dinger and husband Eric of Houma LA; Brother: Michael Cunningham and wife Cynthia of Houma LA; Grandchildren: Haley Lapeyrouse, Devin Lapeyrouse, Katelyn Lapeyrouse, Ericka Dinger, and Hannah Dinger; Step Grandchildren: Austin Berggren and Evan Unbehagen; Sisters In Laws: Linda Vega of Chauvin LA June Trosclair of Larose LA and Claudette Lirette of Chauvin LA; and Brother In Law: Mark Lapeyrouse of Chauvin LA. She was preceded in death by her, Spouse:Stephen Joseph Lapeyrouse; Parents: Edward and Lily Allemand Cunningham; and Step Grandchild: Andre Unbehagen. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a former employee of South Central Bell and co-owner of L & L Towing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her. She was a beautiful person inside and out. She was a caring and generous woman. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
