Leslie Ann Bourgeois

Leslie Ann Bourgeois, 39, a native of Houma and resident of Dallas, died at 12:42 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her mother, Christina Mokrycki Bourgeois of Houma; one brother, Michael Bourgeois and wife, Connie, of Houma; her grandmother, Helen Mokrycki of LaCombe; one nephew, Alex Bourgeois; one niece, Casey Firmature; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Elgin M. Bourgeois. She was a nurse with Center for Oncology Research and Treatment in Dallas. She was notorious for the love of animals and fishing. She was greatly loved and will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, memorial Masses or donations to the Terrebonne Parish Animal Shelter are preferred.
