Virginia Coker Bergeron, 88, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at 11:05 AM. She was a native of Cotton Valley, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, April 27, 2012 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her, Children, Deborah Beddes, Deanna Domangue and husband Ron, Dr. Glynn Bergeron and wife Anne, and Trudy Sasser and husband Joey; Grandchildren, Sean, Ryan, Dustin, Angela, Joshua, Avril, Thomas, Dolive, Arlene, Nicole, Melissa, Michelle and Joanne; and 15 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her, Husband, Rubin A. Bergeron; Parents, Raford Shelby Coker and Lillian Parker Coker; Son, Lonnie R. McEachern; Sisters, Melba Broussard, Ideria C. McCarty and Laveria C. Simpson She was a former parishioner of St. Edmonds Catholic Church of Lafayette. She was a member of St. Edmonds' Ladies Auxilliary and served as the vice president of the Over 50's Club at St. Edmonds.
