Eustis John Champagne, 80, died Thursday, April 12, 2012 at 12:03 PM. He was a native of Theriot, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 16, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Tuesday, April 17, 2012 there will be a military service at 9:30 AM at St.Eloi Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Voisin and husband Brussel, Gloria C. Thibodeaux, Henry Champagne and wife Ann, Carlton Champagne and wife Paula, Dorothy C. Dishman, Audrey C. Croom and husband Harry; Sister in Law, Brenda Thibodeaux Champagne; and many nieces and nephews; He was preceded in death by his, Parents, Dennis A. Champagne and Justine Callahan Champagne, Brothers, Horace Champagne and Roy Champagne, Sr. Nephew, Michael Champagne; Sisters in Law, Betty Falgout Champagne and Joyce Chauvin Champagne; Brothers in law, Earl Thibodeaux and David L. Dishman; Maternal Grandparents, Evance Callahan and Felicia Dumond Callahan; Paternal grandparents, Aurestile and Matilda Duplantis Champagne Eustis was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church and Annunziata Catholic Church. He retired from McDermott after many years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
