Dorothy Caillouet Klingman, 96, died Monday, April 2, 2012 at 11:20 AM. She was a native of Thibodaux, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 She is survived by her, son, Elie Alfred Klingman, II and wife Ida LeCompte Klingman, Houma, LA, daughters, Dorothy "Dottee" K. LeCompte and husband C.J. "Jerry" LeCompte, Houma, LA, Leah K. Pearce and husband Mark Pearce, Houston, TX, grandchildren, Michelle L. O'Mary and husband B. Scott O'Mary, Leah L. LeCompte, Joseph J. LeCompte and wife Kelly Manion LeCompte, Mark N. Pearce and wife Helen Hardy Pearce, Luke A. Pearce, Adriane P. Counts and husband Tegan Counts, Stephanie L. Klingman, James A. Klingman and wife Erin Watkins Klingman, great grandchildren, Catherine M. O'Mary, Madeline R. O'Mary, Matthew T. O'Mary, Justin J. LeCompte, Jack D. LeCompte, Margaret A. Pearce, Benjamin M. Pearce, Jacob O. Pearce, Allison A. Counts, Hayden J. Klingman, Landon W. Klingman, Easton C. Klingman, and Claire E. Klingman, She was preceded in death by her, husband, Elie Alfred Klingman, parents, Louis Edwin Caillouet and Antoinette Matherne Caillouet, brothers, Louis Edwin Caillouet, Rev. James Louis Caillouet, Lucien "Boonie" Charles Caillouet, sisters, Rosemary Caillouet and Antoinette "Nette" C. Durel. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. She volunteered for her church in many capacities for many years. She was a girl scout troop leader and unit chairman. She was a faithful wife and a good mother. She welcomed friends and relatives into her home with fresh coffee and good conversation. The family extends their gratitude and appreciation to the staffs of Terrebonne House and Heritage Manor.
