Russell Charles Soulet, 47, died Sunday, April 1, 2012.He was a native of Lafitte and a resident of Bourg, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 9, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Joseph Church in Chauvin. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery He is survived by his Wife of 26 years, Bonnie Lapeyrouse Soulet of Bourg; Daughter: Casey Soulet of Bourg; Sons: Derek Soulet of Bourg and Logan Soulet of Bourg; Parents: Philip and Elda Soulet of Chauvin; Father and Mother in Law: Roy and Betty Lapeyrouse of Bourg; Brothers: Everette Frickey Jr. and wife Theresa, of Houma, and Joey Soulet of Chauvin; Sisters:Joann Chauvin and husband Marlyn of Houma, Peggy Bordelon and husband Eric of Bourg, Ellen Hoob and husband Flynn of Bourg, and Angel Soulet and fiancé Kimple Verret of Bourg; Sister In Law: Sharon Picou and husband Jordan of Bourg; Brother In Law: Deacon Gary Lapeyrouse and wife Michelle of Bourg; Nieces and Nephews:Leland Picou, wife Jennifer, and children Jackie, Rebecca, and Kailey of Bayou Blue; Lauren Picou of Bourg; Brett and Evan Lapeyrouse and Mandy Menou of Bourg; Ronnie Chauvin and wife Melissa and family of Houma; Tracy Chauvin, husband Ty, and family of Houma; Craig Chauvin, wife Candace, and family of Houma; April Verdin and family of Houma; Somer Henry and family of Houma; Autumn Frickey and family of Houma; Winter and Zack Frickey of Houma R.J. and Stephen Grow and family of Houma, Ashleigh Lafont and family of Bourg and Wiltz Lafont of Bourg. He is preceded in death by his, Father: Everette Frickey, Sr. of Lafitte, LA; Grandparents: Wiltz and Annie Authement and Placid and Lucy Soulet. He was a parishioner of, St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was employed as a Realtor for Mona & Company. A member of Bayou Board of Realtors. He was a Board Member of Rec. Dist. 5 and a Board Member for Bayou Stingrays of Rec. Dist. 7. Russell loved to fish, spend time at the camp, and most of all, he loved his family. He was kind hearted and would lend a hand to anyone in need. Russell will be truly missed by all who knew him.
