Ali Taylor Blaisdell, 18, died Sunday, April 1, 2012. She was a native of Clayton County, GA and resident of Schriever, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, April 4, 2012 from 8:30 AM until service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Burial will follow at St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her father, Brian Keith Blaisdell and step mother, Alicia Blaisdell, McDonough, GA mother and fiance, Rachel Ann Landry and Troy M. Sobert, Schriever, LA, brothers, Larry Blaisdell and Grant Landry, sister, Toni Hughes and Maddie Pardee, and soon to be sisters, Madison and Sophia Sobert, grandmothers, Verda Landry, Barbara Blaisdell, great grandmother, Linda Billiot, nieces, Memphis and Preslei Hughes, godparents, Reed and Jill Pere and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Clyde Landry and David Blaisdell. She worked for Victoria's Indigo Boutique. She was a senior at Terrebonne High School, on the honor role and was going to graduate with honors. She was recently accepted to UNO and was pursuing a career in Dentistry. She had a passion for cheerleading and was a former cheerleader at Vandebilt Catholic High School from 8th to 11th grade. She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. She loved her friends dearly and was a loyal and loving friend to all. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in Ali’s name to the Vandebilt Catholic Endowment Fund.
