Louella Marie Pellegrin Bourg, 86, died Friday, March 30, 2012 at 6:07 AM. She was a native and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012 from 9:30 AM until service time at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of sixty nine years, Nolan Paul Bourg, Chauvin, LA, son, Gaylen Bourg and wife Joni, daughters, Mary Lee Picou and husband Conrad, Sr., Chauvin, LA, Lynell Johnson and husband Ronald, Montgomery, LA, grandchildren, Jordan Picou, Jerome Picou, Nadine Lirette, Conrad Picou, Jr., Corey Roddy, Kevin Roddy, Travis Bourg, Talina Picou, thirteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, two step grandchildren and two step brothers and three step sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eustice Joseph Pellegrin and Celestine Lapeyrouse Pellegrin, grandchild, Francis Picou, brothers, Eddie Pellegrin, Aaron Pellegrin, Norman Pellegrin, sisters, Lethia Bourg, Laura Lee LeCompte, Iona Pellegrin. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and the American Legion Auxilliary. She enjoyed playing bingo and pokeno and going to Senior Citizen's Hall in Chauvin. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and devoted catholic.
