Eula LeCompte Landry, 85, died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 10:25 PM. She was a native of Bourg, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 1, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Monday, April 2, 2012 from 8:00 AM unitl service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will begin at 10:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Gaston and husband Richard, Vonore, TN, Brenda Marcel and husband James, Houma, LA, Darlene Lirette and husband Jerome, Houma, LA, Karen Guidry and husband Lee, Montegut, LA, eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, sisters, Thelma Bergeron, Houma, LA, Theresa Bourg and husband John, Houma, LA and Vivian Callahan, Houma, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Peter Landry, parents, Essay LeCompte and Marie DeRoche LeCompte and brother, Levis LeCompte. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and was always a caregiver to her husband Edward.
