Raymond Joseph Guidry, 86, died Thursday, March 22, 2012 at 2:42 PM. He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Monday, March 26, 2012 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 1100am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lelia Henry Guidry; Daughters: Diana Guidry Ledet of Houma LA, Suzanne Guidry of Houma LA, Nancy Guidry Bridges and husband James of Bourg LA, and Ray Ann Guidry Cheramie and husband Shane of Houma LA,and Son; Timothy Guidry and wife Penny of Houma LA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Tammy Ledet Dupre, Lance P. Ledet, Amy Guidry Borghardt, Rachel Bridges, Jamie Bridges, Timi-Rai Guidry, Tayla Guidry Pinell, Jacob Broussard, John Broussard, and Shane Cheramie, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and 1 sister: Rita Guidry Henry.

He is preceded in death by his parents Eddie Guidry and Olivia Bourg Guidry, Sisters; Vivian Guidry LeBlanc, Edith Guidry Cunningham Ellender, and Iris Guidry Pizzolatto, and Son-in-Law; Leland J. Ledet, Jr.
He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
He retired from Louisiana Land & Exploration Company, served in the 44th Quartermaster Railhead Company in World War II, member of the American Legion, V.F.W., Houma Knights of Columbus, Past Grand Knight, past Faithful Navigator of the Judge A.J. Caillouet Assembly 4th Degree, and Woodmen of the World.
He was a Parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
