Earline Brunet Stringer, 75, died Tuesday, March 20, 2012. She was a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Saturday, March 24, 2012 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery She is survived by her, sons, Dwayne Stringer and wife Karen, Bourg, LA, Alex Stringer and wife Melba, Bourg, LA, Lance Stringer, Bourg, LA, daughters, Donna Stringer LeCompte and husband Aswell, Bourg, LA, Arlene Stringer Blanchard and husband Joseph, Jr., Hiram, GA, grandchildren, Kelly Stringer Authement, Justin Stringer, Danielle Stringer, Hailey Stringer Aston, Rachel LeCompte Pellegrin, Angelle LeCompte Portier, Wesley LeCompte, Beth Stringer, Renee Stringer, Jacob Stringer, Jennifer Blanchard and Sarena Blanchard, Dustin Stringer, Brandon Stringer, Caleb Stringer and Evan Stringer, great grandchildren, Lindsey Authement, Collin Authement, Lucy Stringer, Ella Stringer, Dane Aston, Morgan Aston, Timothy John Pellegrin, Titus Pellegrin, Laurel Pellegrin, Jace Portier and Addison Portier, sister, Marion Brunet. She was preceded in death by her, husband, Donald Joseph Stringer, parents, Simon Peter Brunet, Sr. and Lena Robichaux Brunet, brothers, Lionel Brunet, Simon P. Brunet, Jr., sister, Beverly Brunet. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a retired paraprofessional working for numerous schools in Terrebonne Parish. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters, she volunteered as a census taker and was on the recreation committee in Little Caillou. She enjoyed working with children and was very religious and devout catholic.
