Paul Anthony Savoie, 86, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 9:15 PM. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Saturday, March 17, 2012 from 9:00 AM until service time at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Annunziata Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Falgout Savoie, Houma, LA, sons, Wyatt Savoie and wife Roslyn, Erath, LA, Eric Savoie and wife Sally, Montegut, LA, James Savoie, Houma, LA, Matthew “Matt” Savoie and wife Krista, Houma, LA, daughters, Marie Brunet and husband Ivy, Houma, LA, Lorrie Scranton and husband Joseph “Joe”, Missouri City, TX, Kimberly “Kim” Hebert and husband Brad, Houma, LA, grandchildren, Ashley Brunet, Elizabeth Mitchell, Jude Savoie, Eric Savoie, Jr., Paul Scranton, Brenton Hebert, Emily Scranton, Kayla Hebert and Kameron Savoie, great grandchildren, Tyler Breaux, Alaya Chauvin, Celeste Savoie and sister, Valerie Himel, Houma, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul James Savoie and Antoinette Use' Savoie, brothers, Benjamin Savoie, Carrol Savoie, sisters, Bessie Brunet, Jeanette Savoie and Elsie Savoie.
He was a meat cutter for A & P. He was a very active parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed woodworking. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Annunziata Maintenance Fund.
