Marilyn Ann LeCompte Henry, 63, died Wednesday, March 14, 2012 . She was a native and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 from 9:30 AM until Service time at St. Joseph Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 16, 2012 at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment: St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery She is survived by her, Husband of 43 years, Larry J. Henry; Children, Darin Henry, Paige Walker and husband Ryan K. Walker, Monica Durbin and husband Chris Durbin, Lee Henry, Paul I. Henry; 7 Grandchildren, Erica, Bethany, Tanna, Mallory, John, Madison and C.J.; 3 Great Grandchildren, Giovanni, Devonte and Johnte; Sisters, Frances Hammons and husband Tommy and Sheryl Pitre and husband Raymond; Sisters in law, Patsy Pierron and husband Roger, Peggy LeBouef and husband Herbert, Dodie LeBoeuf and husband Alvin and Debbie Ledet and husband Jules; She was preceded in death by her, Parents, William Thomas LeCompte and Lorenza Bergeron LeCompte; Brother, Leland "Greo" LeCompte; Grandparents, Sidney and Estelle LeCompte and Gustave and Eliska Bergeron. Marilyn was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She taught religion at St. Joseph, volunteered at Lagniappe on the Bayou, and worked as a teacher's aide at Little Caillou Elementary. In her free time she enjoyed crosstitching and gardening.
