Richard Adam Triche, 69, died Sunday, March 11, 2012. He was a native of Lafourche, LA and resident of Houma ,LA . Visitation will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM with service beginning at 7:00 PM. He is survived by his, sons, Adam David Triche, Houma, LA, David Adam Triche and wife Anita, Theriot, LA daughter, Marian Triche Chauvin and husband Trent, Houma, LA, grandchildren, Melissa Marie Chauvin, Shelbie Lynn Chauvin, Skylar Brea Chauvin, Ali Jeanne Triche McCullers, Hali Jeanne Triche, brothers, Joseph Triche, Donald Triche, Armond Paul Triche, Gerald Triche, sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Moore, Rita Mae Scott, Carol Caswell, Betty Short, Diane Mullins. Marian Triche Chauvin, Houma, LA. He was preceded in death by his, wife, Sadie Guidry Triche, parents, Edwin Triche and Elvenzel Guidry Triche, brothers, Raymond Triche, Lynn Triche, E.J. Triche and Bob Triche. He was a shipyard owner and foreman. Richard "Paw" "Pawhead" "Ricky" "Rooster" "Daddy" Triche, well known and loved by many and was always willing to teach anyone who was willing to learn. To his family, friends and extended family he was a hero and an idol. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He was a body full of knowledge and frequently visited and shared his wisdom at "The House of Knowledge". He loved playing pool and was a self proclaimed professional. He was an avid fisherman and an exceptionally talented fitter and welder. He was a master of ALL trades. His mottos were, "Don't worry about the mule... just load the wagon.”, "If ya can't get it... ya can't stay!", and “If you can’t find the time to do it right… how are you going to find the time to do it over!”.
