Patricia Songy

Patricia Marie Songy, 66, died Saturday, February 25, 2012 at 9:35 AM. She was a native of Los Angeles, CA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. A Liturgy of the Word will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 at 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by her husband Michel M. Songy "Mickey". Two sons, Barry P. Rhodes and companion Wendy Naquin, Thomas R. Rhodes and wife Ashley Billiot, one daughter, Rebecca R. Lovell and husband Charles Lovell Jr. Her step-son on paper; but son in our hearts Corey M. Songy and wife Heidi. Her grandchildren Christopher M. Lovell and wife Nicole, Owen Rhodes, Hayden Songy, Gretchin Gregoire and companion Matthew Gaudet. My special Angel who took care of and loved me beyond her years and expectations. Thank you, one last time, Alyssa Rhodes, Grannie's "Deedle Bop". Her sister Gwendolyn and husband Patrick Liner, brother Greg and wife Carrie Steele, sister-in-law Dale R. Steele. She is also survived by her great grandchildren Talan J. and Brynn C. Lovell, and Hailey J. and Stephen P. Gaudet. She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her first husband Frank. M. Rhodes, mother Mildred M. Duplantis and step-father Elward L. Duplantis. Her brother Richard P. Steele, and niece Rhonda Steele and father Paul Richard Steele.
