Thomas Oliver Honea, 78, died Friday, February 24, 2012 at 7:08 AM. He was a native of Magnolia, Miss. and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 11:00am at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 He is survived by his, Spouse: Gerry Honea of Houma LA; Sons: Ray Scott and wife Mindy of Houma LA; Daughters: Vickie Purvis and husband Otis of Houma LA; Sisters: Nell Harrell and late husband Bennie of Vidallia LA; Grandchildren: 8; and Great Grandchildren: 10. He was preceded in death by his, Parents: Smiley and Wilmetta Powell Honea; Son: Charles Gordon Scott; Brothers: Jewell Honea and Jimmie Honea; and Sister: Elsie Elliot. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Houma. He was retired from Placid Oil and Reagan Equipment. He was a United States Air Force veteran. He will be missed by his family and friends.
