Catherine Shepherd Geist, 87, a native of Chacahoula, LA and resident of Houma, LA died Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 6:15 PM, at home, surrounded by her family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 9:00 AM until Service time at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Interment: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 She is survived by her, Beloved husband of 63 years, Oswald Geist; Son, Karl A.Geist, II and wife Carolyn of Houma; Daughters, Cathy Geist King and husband Stephen of Carthage, TX and Nancy Geist of Baton Rouge; Four Grandchildren, Matthew King of Cypress, TX, Kevin King of Houston, TX, Kenneth King of The Woodlands, TX, and Katie Geist of New Orleans; Sister, Vera Shepherd Bergeron of Houma. She was preceded in death by her, Parents:Robert E. Shepherd and Katie LeBoeuf Shepherd; Brothers, F.E.
