Phyllis Prosperie Thibodeaux, 89, died Thursday, February 2, 2012. She was a native of Montegut, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 9:30 AM until service time at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 She is survived by her, sons, Glenn J.Thibodeaux and wife Olga, Curtis J. Thibodeaux and wife Wanda, Stephen P. Thibodeaux and wife Annie, nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, brother, Miguel Prosperie and sister, Rosemary Chaisson. She was preceded in death by her, husband, Fred Thibodeaux, son, Dale C. Thibodeaux, parents, Miguel Prosperie and Lydia McElroy Prosperie, one great grandchild, brother, Roy Prosperie, sister, Ruth Ruiz. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.
