Josephine "Nana" Guercio Taylor, 94, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 9:32 AM. She was a native of White Castle, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 9:00 AM until service time at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church in White Castle, LA. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 3, 2012 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in White Castle, LA. She is survived by her, sons, Otis H. Taylor, Jr. and wife Wanda, Paulina, LA, and James "Jimmy" Taylor, San Antonio, TX, daughter, Shirley Taylor Walker, Houma, LA, grandchildren, Tony Taylor, Maria Taylor Krehel, Susanne Taylor Krehel, Tom Walker, JoAnne Walker Pitre, Nancy Walker Torbert, Jim Taylor, Jr., Brent Taylor, great grandchildren, Michael Krehel, III, Mark Krehel, Matthew Krehel, John Pitre, Jr., David Pitre, Maria Pitre, Emily Torbert, Claire Torbert, Zachary Taylor, Stephen Walker, Sarah Walker, Samantha Krehel, Joey Krehel, Anthony Taylor, Ben Taylor, Gabe Taylor and Emma Taylor. She was preceded in death by her, husband, Otis H. Taylor, Sr., parents, Domonick Guercio, Sr. and Rosa Biondo Guercio, grandson, Glenn Taylor, four brothers and four sisters. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Italian Society.
