Jimmie Paul Hollingsworth, 61, died Monday, January 30, 2012 at 9:00 AM. He was a native of Asheville, NC and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. He is survived by his, wife, Elizabeth Clements-Hollingsworth, daughter, Rhonda Margiotta, son, James Margiotta, mother, Lettie Letterman Hollingsworth, grandchildren, Jessica Martin, Elizabeth Martin, Wade Margiotta, Derrick Margiotta, Chas Richards, Johnathon Margiotta, Brianna Richards and Lindsey Margiotta, great grandchildren, Terrance Sims, Ty'ren Martin, La'Nae Steele, Anaya Steele and Makayla Martin, brother, Michael Hollingsworth, nephews, Bobby Hollingsworth, Jr., and family and Steve Hollingsworth and family and nieces, Tracy Hollingsworth and family and Barbara and Wendy Hollingsworth. He was preceded in death by his, father, Covert Hollingsworth, daughter, Cherie Martin, brothers, Bobby Hollingsworth and Jerry Hollingsworth. He was a self employed carpenter. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing and camping and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
