Violet Theresa Lirette Robichaux

Violet Theresa Lirette Robichaux, 77, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died at 10:36 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, 2007. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Elie Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Laban Anthony Robichaux Sr. of Houma; three sons, Ronnie Robichaux and wife, Ruth, of Little Caillou, Kirk Robichaux and wife, Janet, and Laban Robichaux Jr. of Houma; three daughters, Jeanne Dupre and husband, Dave, of Houma, Veronica McLeMore and husband, James, of Laurel, Miss., and Susette Vetter of Houma; two brothers, Dennis Lirette Jr. and Daniel Lirette of Theriot; three sisters, Leona Guidry of Theriot, Velma Durio of Houma and Angela Durio of Theriot; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis Lirette Sr. and Marie Liner Lirette; three brothers, Hillary Lirette, Jimmy Lirette and Roosevelt Lirette; and one sister, Jeanne Trahan. She was a homemaker, a member of East Park Ladies Auxiliary and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Bayou Regions Hospice.
