Edward "Eddie" Lee Robichaux

              Edward “Eddie” Lee Robichaux, a lifelong resident of Houma, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012, at the age of 56 after a long, courageous battle with cancer         Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 8:00 AM until service time at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.    He is survived by his wife of nearly thiry years, Pamela Patterson Robichaux. Together they had two beautiful daughters, Amanda Ann and Aimee Elizabeth, both of Houma.    He is also survived by his mother, Ruth Hochenedel Robichaux, brother, John "Dupe" Christopher Robichaux, sisters, Virginia Robichaux Pellegrin and husband Myrden, Patricia Robichaux Gilbert, father in law, Edward Patterson, Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews.    He was preceded in death by his, father, Ray Joseph Robichaux, brother, Ernest "Ernie" Ray Robichaux, mother in law, Juanita Russo Patterson.    He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He was an Operations Manager for fifteen years at Central Boat Rentals. Edie loved life and lived each day to the fullest. He enjoyed hunting, golfing, traveling, LSU tailgating and being outdoors.  In his free time, he took off to Grand Isle to relax and pursue his passion of fishing. He also spent many years as a Mardi Gras float captain for the Krewe of Houmas. What he loved most was spending time with his family and friends. Eddie was easy-going, had a magnetic personality, a genuine demeanor, and was a true prankster. He inspired everyone with a positive attitude and his faith in God.  His legacy will be his faith and love, and we will always remember his humor and beautiful smile.      In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Servants of Divine Mercy, 280 Monarch Drive, Apt. C, Houma, Louisiana, 70364. “Jesus we Trust in You.”
