Dorothy “Dot” Lovell Billiot, 72, died Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 11:52 PM. She was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 8:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her, sons, Christopher Billiot and wife Shelly, Houma, LA, Craig Billiot and wife Candy, Bourg, LA, Bryant Billiot and wife Melissa, Lafayette, LA, daughter, Maxine Gregoire and husband Gary, Houma, LA, Sonia Billiot, Houma, LA, Rhonda Dore' and husband David, Houma, LA, grandchildren, Gary Gregoire, Jr. and wife Andrea, Jarrod Gregoire, Aaron Billiot, Tezra Ricketts and husband Toby, Trevor Duplantis, Gerrin Lapeyrouse and wife Angela, Dedrick Lapeyrouse, Kirsten Lapeyrouse and fiance' Jerred, Nicolette Billiot, Bryce Billiot, Dakota Billiot, Wyatt Billiot, three step grandchildren, great grandchildren, Tayton and Jersey Ricketts and Kaysen Shackleford and four step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her, husband, Anthony “BeBe” Calvin Billiot, parents, Oleus Lovell and Mathilda Lee Lovell, brothers, Nelson Lovell and Junius Lovell. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, cooking, fishing, gardening and spending time with her family.
