Charley Schrader

Charley Joseph Schrader, Jr. 76, died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at St. Luke’s hospital in Houston, Tx. He was a native of Urania, La and a long time resident of Houma, La. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012 from 6:00PM until 9:00PM and Tuesday, January 17, 2012 from 9AM until 11AM at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 11AM at First United Methodist Church. Interment to follow at Terrebonne Memorial Park. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Schrader Yeaw and husband John David Andrew, Tracy Schrader, and Letitia Schrader Lanaux and husband Christopher, grandchildren, Jonah Albares, David Yeaw, Tiffanie Robinson and Sarah Lanaux, and brother, Earle Ray Schrader and wife Dorothy. He was preceded in death by his wife Sarah “Lucy” Guichet Schrader, parents, the reverend Charley Joseph “ J.C.” Schrader and Mary Ruth Bearden Schrader, brother Lawrence Wayne Schrader. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Houma, La. He was a veteran of the United States Air force. He was a graduate of LSU Law School and a local attorney for over forty years.
