Judson Ellender

Judson Thomas Ellender, Sr, 67, died Friday, January 13, 2012 . He was a native of Bourg, LA and resident of Montegut, LA. Visitation will be Friday January 20, 2012 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montegut. Service will be at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart. The burial will follow in the church cemetery. He is survived by his, Wife of 46 years, Connie Pellegrin Ellender; Children, Colette E. Fick and husband Benny Fick; Wendy E. Henry and Judson Ellender, Jr; Grandchildren, Tony "T.J." Henry, Jr.; Ross Endsley, Kade Domangue, Kalie Fick and Brennan Fick Brothers, Edward Ellender, Jr and Clark Ellender; Sisters, Helen E. Pitre, Dorothy E. Prosperie and Darlene E. Bergeron. He was preceded in death by his, Son, Raleigh Ellender; Parents, Edward Ellender, Sr and Madeline Hutcherson Ellender; Sister, Adeline E. Cunningham; Brother, Whitney Ellender and Brothers in law, Norris Pitre and Wayne Lirette. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Montegut. He was President and operations manager of Houma Land and Offshore Co. Upon his retirement, his hobby and love for his cattle farm "LaCache Cattle Co." in the Montegut/Chauvin area occupied most of his time. His 5 grandchildren were the greatest joy of his life.
