Rita Cargill

Rita Rhodes Cargill, 87, died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 8:50 PM. She was a native of Montegut, LA and resident of Bourg, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Ann Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church with burial in St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her, daughter, Carly Jo Cargill Pitre and husband Wade, Bourg, LA, grandchildren, Cade Michael Pitre and Luke Iler Pitre. She was preceded in death by her, husband, Marvin "Bo" Cargill parents, Gustave Rhodes and Amanda Guidry Rhodes, brothers,Mertile Rhodes, Thomas Rhodes, Hansel Rhodes, O'Neal Rhodes, sisters, Lillian Rhodes Naquin, Anna Lee Rhodes Price, Vivian Rhodes Boquet and Elodee Rhodes Bartell. She was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. She was a clerk for Louisiana Power and Light and retired after 33 years. She will be forever remembered for her compassion, kindness and generosity, combined with a strong love of family.
