Antoine Joseph Cunningham, 86, died Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 1:00 AM. He was a native of Chauvin, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, January 6, 2012 from 8:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his, wife, Velma Cunningham, Houma, LA, daughters, Carolyn Norland, Ormand Beach, FL, Phyllis Starkey and husband Jerry, Monticello, AR, Rose Bangs and husband Robert, Houma, LA, Maxine Duplantis, Anchorage, AK, Melissa Pinell and husband Todd, Houma, LA, son, Patrick Cunningham-Troy Woods, Fairburn, GA, grandchildren, Wayne Hudgens, Nikki Cook, Dawn Naquin, Robbie Duplantis, Michelle Bussey and David Theriot, six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his, parents, Enes Cunningham and Felicienne Lirette Cunningham. He was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church. He served in the Navy during World War II. He enjoyed reading and woodworking and he was a very avid camper. He loved his grandkids and his family. He volunteered for Mended Heart.
