Travis McKee

Travis McKee, 76, died Friday, December 30, 2011 at 4:15 PM. He was a native of El Paso, TX and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at Christ Baptist Church. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at 2:00pm at Christ Baptist Church with burial in Matherne Cemetery. He is survived by his, Spouse: Mary Ellen Matherne McKee of Houma LA; Brothers:William J.W. Edens Jr. of El Paso TX and Gregory M. Edens of El Paso TX; Sisters: Eddith Edens McAlanis of Fort Worth TX and Paula Edens Davis of El Paso TX and he is also survived by many neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by his, Parents: William J. W. Edens Sr. and Denia McKee Edens; Grandparents: Roy C. McKee and Vera McKee; and Brother: Richard A. Edens. He was a member of Christ Baptist Church. He loved to serve in his church in music ministry and visiting the nursing home residents. His favorite pastime was his HAM radio and he enjoyed playing the piano.
