Catherine Pellegrin, 80, died Friday, December 30, 2011 at 7:25 AM. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 2, 2012 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Burial: Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery She is survived by her, Sons: Mark S. Pellegrin and wife Judith of Houma LA and Howard “Howie” A. Pellegrin Jr. and wife June of Bourg LA Daughters: Donna Pellegrin Price and husband Ronald of Chauvin LA and Gina Pellegrin Holder of Houma LA Brothers: Hugh Paul "H.P." Valure of Houma LA, David Valure of Houma LA and Ricky Valure of Houma LA Grandchildren: Monique Scales, Mindy Pellegrin, Michelle Falgout, Matthew Pellegrin, Sheldon Price, Heidi Price, Randi Domangue, Tyler Price, Lance Pellegrin, and Scott Pellegrin. Great Grandchildren: Amber Scales, James Scales, Kenny Pellegrin, Kaleb Pellegrin, Angelle Falgout, Hunter Falgout, Kenley Pellegrin, Carson Price, Laney Price, Jace Trosclair, Levi Trosclair, and Tanner Domangue. Companion: Dean Flewwellin She was preceded in death by her, Spouse: Howard A.Pellegrin Sr. Parents: Joseph and Ruth Dryden Valure Brothers: Anthony "T-Joe" Valure Sisters: Glayds Burton amd Dorothy Strange. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She was a pageant director for the Tri-Parish area. She loved to spend time at her home in Grand Isle with her family. She enjoyed feeding the birds on the beach while relaxing on her deck.
