Ernest Rankin Jordan, 79, died Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 9:32 PM. He was a native of McHenry, Miss and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2011 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 2:00pm at Moore Funeral Home with burial in Sunflower Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Houma from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm. He is survived by his, Spouse:Pat Jordan of Houma LA; Sons: Glen Jordan and wife Pamela of Houma LA, David Jordan and wife Nancy of Jackson Miss, Danny Jordan and wife Catherine of Houma LA and Phillip Jordan of New Orleans LA; Brother: Glen James Jordan and wife Laura of Biloxi Miss; Grandchildren: Gerrit Jordan of Austin TX, Heather Guidry of Houma LA, Randy Scott of League City TX, Adam Scott of Tupelo Miss and Amelia Jordan of Houma LA; Great Grandchildren: Conner and Evan Scott of League City TX; Madison Grace Scott of Tupelo Miss Cason Guidry of Houma LA; Brother in Law: Clyde Rayburn and wife Johnnie Mae of Mobile AL. He was preceded in death by his, Parent: Monroe and Ila Bond Jordan. He was the Co-Founder of Tube-Alloy Corp. He was an avid Bass fisherman, hunter and enterpreneur.
