Dorothy Charpentier Davis, 70, died Sunday, December 25, 2011. She was a native of Montegut, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, December 30, 2011 from 9:00am to 11:00am at Montegut Baptist. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11:00am at Montegut Baptist with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her, Sons: Ollie Courteaux Jr of Chauvin LA; Leonard Courteaux and wife Amanda of Murfreesboro TN; Daughters: Amy Grissom and husband Shelby of Houma LA and Tina Courteaux of Houma LA; Sisters: Josephine Johnson and late husband Arnold of Lake Charles LA; Grandchildren:9 and Great Grandchildren:11. Dorothy Davis is also survived by her companion Nolan Blanchard and his children Jamie Blanchard, Trudy Mitchell, and Ronnie Scott. She was preceded in death by her, Parents: Louis and Cornelia Charpertier; Brothers: Leo Paul Charpentier, Joseph W. Charpentier, Russell Charpentier, Leroy Charpentier, Lloyd Charpentier, and Louis Charpentier; Sisters: Cornelia Peggy Roth and Barbara Charpentier; and Daughter: Wendy Kay Courteaux She was a member of Montegut Baptist. She will be missed by her family and friends. She had a love for Jesus and she loved reading her Bible.
