Ezella “Chippy” Josephine Luke, 81, died Friday, December 23, 2011 at 10:40 PM. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 8:30am to 11:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 11:00am at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her 4 daughters Barbara Thibodeaux, Tammy Cabanilla and husband Alex, Sandra Johnson and husband Dean, and Rachael Luke and companion Ray Aceves; her 6 sons Jerry Luke and companion Dolores Gautreaux, Harold Luke and friend Donald Louviere, Henry Luke and wife Anna, Timmy Luke and wife Trudy, Jody Luke, and Danny Luke and wife Lisa; two sisters Zelthia LeBouef and Jane Pellegrin; 3 brothers James Trosclair, Eugene Trosclair and Lawrence Trosclair; 21 Grandchildren and 25 great grand children. She was preceded in death by her, She is preceded in death by her husband William "Willie" Pierre Luke; one son Carl Luke; parents Mary and Julian Trosclair; 2 brothers Rudy Trosclair, and "T.B." Joseph Trosclair and one sister Ruth Aucoin. One son in law Glenn Paul Thidodeaux. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. Most importantly she loved being with her family. She loved to go to the casino, playing bingo, and cooking with her family.
