Effie LeBoeuf LeCompte, 91, died Wednesday, December 21, 2011. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 26, 2011 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 9:00am to 11:00am at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 11:00am at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her, Sons: Gary LeCompte, Sr. and wife Bonna of Houma LA and Kenneth LeCompte and late wife Eileem of League City TX; Daughters: Katha Rogers and husband Danny of Westwego LA and Sandrea Rush and husband Keith of Gonzales LA; Sister-in-Laws: Walterine LeBoeuf of Houma LA and Mildred LeBoeuf of Houma LA; Grandchildren:11 Great Grandchildren:24 and Great Great Grandchildren:9. She was preceded in death by her, Spouse: William Joseph LeCompte Parents: Charles and Mable Samonie LeBoeuf; Brothers: J.C. LeBoeuf, Chester LeBoeuf, Allen LeBoeuf and Randolf LeBoeuf; Sisters: Jeanne Hebert, Verna Trahan, Lorena Duplantis; Grandson: Gary LeCompte Jr.; Great Grandson: Gary LeCompte III Great Great Granddaughter: Kaliya Renee LeCompte. She was parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of American at St Bernadette Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Kaycee Auxiliary. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She loved to cook and bake cakes for her family.
