Clarence Falgout

Clarence Joseph Falgout Jr. 84, a native of Theriot and resident of DuLarge, died peacefully surrounded by family at 11:32 pm Tuesday, December 20, 2011. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 9:00am to 11:00am at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 11:00am at St. Eloi Catholic Church with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Irene Chaisson Falgout: loving son Chris Falgout and wife Linda; loving son Brian Falgout 1st, and loving daughter Theresa "Dee Dee" Fischer and husband Mark. His loving grandchildren who absolutely adored him: Holly Desmore and husband Alan, Christa Falgout and Fiance' Troy Chauvin, Brian Falgout II, Brent Falgout, Mindy Fischer and companion Adam Smith, and Katie Fischer. His great grandchildren: Caroline Fields, Allison Desmore, Claire Desmore, Saylor Avara, Ramsey Avara, Zayden Falgout and baby Adyson Smith. His step great grandchildren whom he loved as his very own: Mersadie Desmore, Ashley Desmore, Hailey Chauvin and Justin Smith; and step great great grandchild Cole Desmore. He is also survived by two brothers, Thaddeus "T.J." Falgout of HOuma, Eustis Falgout of Houma, and his only sister; Velma Ernst of Seward Alaska. He was preceded in death by his, parents Clarence Falgout Sr and Marie Thibodaux Falgout. He is also preceded in death by his two brothers; Raymond Falgout and Druby Falgout. Paw Paw Clarence was the rock in our family, truly the strongest person we've ever met. Words can never describe how much he is loved or how much he will be missed! He never met a stranger and would always do anything for anybody. To know him was to love him. We are thankful for the time he was here and he will live forever in our hearts. You fought a good fight till the very end! Your suffering is over and you are at peace now!
