Ronald Phillip LeBlanc, 65, a native and resident of Houma, lost his long and courageous battle with cancer on December 5, 2011.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2011 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., and Friday, December 9, 2011 from 9:30am until 11:30am at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 11:30am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, burial will be held at St. Elie Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Carolina “Noonie” Pellegrin LeBlanc; one daughter, Kayla LeBlanc and Fiance’ Bronson Verdin; two sons, Corey LeBlanc and Keith LeBlanc; three grandchildren, Chellsey LeBlanc, Madilyn LeBlanc and Kobe LeBlanc; seven brothers, Druis LeBlanc and wife Lilly, Alvin “A.J.” LeBlanc, Jr., Eugene LeBlanc and wife Esmeralda, Dale LeBlanc, Barry “Duck” LeBlanc, Darry “Duck” LeBlanc; five sisters, Joyce Dehart and husband Leroy, Caroline Trosclair and husband John Benny, Shirley Guy and husband Eugene, Sandra Hutchinson and husband Kevin, and Eunice “Sis” Cangelosi and husband Nick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin LeBlanc, Sr., and Eunice LeBoeuf LeBlanc; three brothers, Francis LeBlanc, Charles LeBlanc and Carroll LeBlanc;
and two sisters, Kathy LeBlanc Ledet and Rita Mae LeBlanc Lebouef.
Ronald was a process server for the law firm of Michael X. St. Martin for 44 years. He loved his job and enjoyed meeting people. Ronald was a great father. He had a huge heart and always went out of his way to help everyone. Maintaining his well-known sense of humor till the end, he will be greatly missed.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Robert Gamble for his exceptional care and compassion. Also, to his employer Michael X. St. Martin for all his generosity.
