Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 Margaret Guidry Belanger was born on November 3, 1927. She was native of Gueydan, Louisiana, and a resident of Houma. She lived for many years in Donaldsonville. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Hewitt Anthony Belanger, and her parents James A. and Irene Premeaux Guidry. She is survived by her sisters Goldie Fones of San Antonio, Texas and Dolores Sheridan of Belleville, Illinois and many nieces and nephews. She had been a gardener, golfer, duplicate bridge player, and a collector of porcelains, ceramics, and books. She was a graduate of the old Saint Francis de Sales convent on Point Street, class of 1944.
