Leroy Joseph Vedros Jr., 53, died Friday, November 18, 2011.He was a native of Marrrero, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 9:00am to 1:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 1:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his, Spouse: Monica Porche Vedros of Houma LA; Sons: Jacob, Benjamin, and Phillip Vedros of Houma LA; Daughters: Gina and Julie Vedros of Houma LA; Parents-In-Law: Larry and Daisy Porche of Houma LA; Father: Leroy Joseph Vedros and wife Vera of Westwego LA; Brother-In-Law: Larry Porche and wife Catina of Houma LA; Sister-In-Law: Melissa Hardeman and husband Steve of Little Rock AR; Nephews and Nieces: Hunter Porche, Margaret Hardeman, and Zachary Hardeman. He was preceded in death by his, Grandparents: Alcest and Maude Vedros. He was a member of The Dwelling Place. He was owner of Leroy's Electrical Services. Leroy loved the Lord with all his heart. He is now at peace and no longer in pain. He loved his family more than anything else in this world. He loved to coach and counsel the youth. He enjoyed gardening, raising his pups, and especially his family vacations at Navarre Beach. He touched many people throughout his life. He was a compassionate man with a heart for the less fortunate. Leroy will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
