Amanda Marie Larpenter

Amanda Marie Larpenter, 22, a native of Houma and resident of Gray, died at 2:58 a.m. Sunday, July 22, 2007. Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by her parents, Donald and Cindy Blanchard Larpenter of Gray; one sister, Katie Beth Larpenter of Gray; her grandparents, Virgis and Jeanette Blanchard and Marie Louise Larpenter; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by one aunt, Cheryl Blanchard Taylor; her grandfather, Aaron Larpenter; her great-grandparents, Harold and Hilda Domangue, Stanley and Edna Blanchard, Joseph and Agnes Gautreaux and Eba Sr. and Annis Larpenter; two uncles, Ronald and David Larpenter; and one aunt, Earline Larpenter Taylor. She was a student at Nicholls State University and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
