Wilbur Louis Lyons, 84, died Monday, November 14, 2011 at 8:47 AM. He was a native of Chauvin, LA and resident of Chauvin, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, November 16, 2011 from 9:30am to 11:30am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 11:30am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial at St. Elie Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his, Parents: Vanis and Beulah Lyons Brother: Lawrence Lyons Sisters: Dolores "Sue" Ledet Dupre and Beverly Lyons Domangue. He was a loving husband to his wife, Ruth for 62 years. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, and a mentor to his brothers. He loved spending time with his family, playing cards with his friends and going to his camp. He devoted much of his time to his community. He was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew him
