Myrn Marmande

Myrn Henley Marmande, 91, a native of Roy, Washington and a longtime resident of Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana, died at home Saturday, November 12, 2011 surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert H. Marmande, Sr.; one son, Robert H. Marmande, Jr. and wife Gail of Theriot, LA; four daughters, Janice M. Albright and husband Larry of Arlington, VA; Carolyn Marmande and companion Cindy Bergeron of Sedona, AZ; Myrn M. Theriot and husband Jerry of Houma, LA; and Joan M. Blouin and husband Mike of Houma, LA; and her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be 6:00PM to 9:00PM Monday, November 14, 2011 at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9:00AM until funeral time on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Theriot, Louisiana. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM at St. Eloi Catholic Church in Theriot, Louisiana with burial following in the church cemetery. She was a veteran of World War II and a past member of the Terrebonne Parish Arts Guild. As an artist, she enjoyed painting and working with stained glass. She was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be lovingly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Eloi Catholic Church.
