Aubrey Peter Boudreaux, 85, died Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 10:58 AM. He was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Montegut, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011 from 9:30am to 11:30am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 11:30am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his, Wife: Sherry Boudreaux of Houma LA Sons: Douglas Paul Boudreaux fiance Judy Earles of Crowley LA Daughters: Gwendolyn Boudreaux Poiencot of Houma LA and Francine Boudreaux and husband Kim Boudreaux of Prarieville LA Daughters in Law: Kathie Boudreaux Rodrigue Brother: Carroll Boudreaux and wife Johnny of Biloxi MS Sister: Yvonne "Bonnie" Champagne and husband Willie of Houma LA Grandchildren: Shana P. Daigle and husband Jason, Julie B. Bascle and husband Derek, Kimberly B. Hodges and husband Aaron, Cassidy P. Dryden and husband Scotty, Tiffany B. Belanger and husband Jake, Brad Boudreaux and wife Nicole, and Sadie Boudreaux and fiance Darren Hill Great Grandchidren: Brynn, Shae, Summer Daigle,Anna and Caleb Bascle,Kaylee, Aubrey, Lani Lane Hodges,Brianna, Peyton Dryden, Seth, Owen Belanger,Brayden and Madison Boudreaux and Pet: Lil Prissy II. Survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his, Parents: Sidney and Eva Boudreaux Brothers: Johnny Boudreaux and Antoine "Floyd" Boudreaux Sister: Pearl Boudreaux Grandchild: Eve Marie Boudreaux and Pet poodle: Prissy. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a Member of the American Legion over 50 years where he served as Commander and Chaplain. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the United Veterans League. He recived an Honorary High School Certificate from Govener Jindal. He never met a stranger. Enjoyed his grandchildren and great grandchildren and making them laugh. They left him the name of silly paw paw. He loved to sing "You are my Sunshine" to all the kids and grandchildren. He enjoyed making a garden and having the children help him gather the vegatables.
