Louise "Lou" McNeely Taylor

Louise "Lou" McNeely Taylor, 65, a native of Jonesville and resident of Alexandria, died at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2007. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. She is survived by one son, Glen Humphries of Jackson, Miss.; two daughters, Sherry Harmon and husband, J.E., of Ridgecrest and Misty Avant and husband, Michael, of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Rosie Paul of Nebo and Betty Robichaux of Houma; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard McNeely and Ida Bell White McNeely; and five brothers, Harold, Colemen, Ralph, B.B. and Jerry McNeely.
